Installation
Sealing of Edges and Application of Remover
The sealing of edges and the use of chemical reactive remover help to increase durability and make the removal of the mods easiser. LP Top Form boards for Molds only require a thin layer of the removal product after every use.
Apply a thick layer of removal prodcut to the LP Top Form boards somde days before using it for first time and then remove the excess, leaving a thin layer of the product. This will prolong the useful life of the board, increase the removal properties and diminish the formation of spots.
On the other hand when using a specific remover it mst be considered the interaction of molds resideu between the remover and the finishing of the concrete. For exampleremover products that contain wax or silicone should be avoided if finally a layer of painting will be appllied to the concrete.
Removal of Casting from the Mold
For the removal of castings from the LP Top Form Molds of boards it is not advisable to use poles or metallic bars because they would damage the surface and the edge of the board. Instead it is advisable to use wooden wedges, hitting them softly and gradually whenever is necessary.

It is suggested to pile them horizontally face to face very carefully when transporting. Mold boards must be cleaned and can be piled atlogether either in small groups or keeping their faces separated with paper.
Once the boards are piled they must be protected from sun and rain, keeping and adequate air circulation to avoid heat concentration. Pile boards on a plain surface and support them in at least three points.
