The Guttagarden cellular grass paving system must be laid on a properly levelled surface. The paving consists of the following elements :
- bed for cellular grass paving system
- guttagarden laying
- grass sowing
Normally the thickness, the number and the features of the foundation layers are strictly related to the characteristics of the ground and the kind of loads that will be supported by the guttagarden cellular paving (vehicles and/or pedestrians).
Handling & Storages
The pavings reinforced with guttagarden, as the lawns, need watering, mowing, and occasional fertilising.
Guttapaving lawn grids made of recycled polyethylene (HDPE) are jolt-resistant and particularly well suited as parking surfaces, driveways, and paths. Thanks to its mass-produced ground anchor, lawn grids are also ideal for protecting embankments and river or coast bank areas.
It goes without saying that our product components are non-hazardous, environmentally friendly, and 100% recyclable.
The open design allows the plants to take hold in the ground through the grids. This creates a stable and durable green surface that provides support and safety and does not impair the plants' natural moisturizing abilities.
When correctly laid down, the grid connectors are evenly covered by the lawn which creates a normal lawn surface and indentation and, in turn, protects the product from direct UV rays.
By using guttagarden lawn grids, you will also avoid additional surface sealing and thus contribute substantially to flood prevention. Precipitation no longer flows into sewer systems and therefore too quickly into rivers and streams, rather it seeps slowly and evenly into the ground, thus promoting natural groundwater levels.
